I decided to use the trading card template from Bryan Mather’s Remixer Machine because it is fun to use, and calls for creativity within restraints (a blank page to draw on scares me).
Indeed for the longest time dogs have been my metaphor online and more or less my “handle”. That photo of Felix (one among hundreds in my flickr) is special as it was taken maybe the second day after I adopted him from the Humane Society in Payson Arizona.
Why dogs? They are loyal and playful and are never disappointed to see you. Every greeting is at maximum. I always loved the O2 ads of “Be More Dog”
Okay, so curious is a strong number, it is chasing details down internet rabbit holes but also curious to learn from and hear stories of as many different people as I can listen to. Without a sense of curiosity how far can learning go?
Next is Goofy at 84. I rather enjoy being silly, not for its own sake ir to draw attention, but to lighten the moods, to show others I am human and constantly mess up, it’s the goofy that is in the same Venn area as fun, laughter.
And indeed I have frequent typos in my writing. It’s a trademark? It’s also my cue that my writing is machine generated, but also that I am human, imperfect.
Lastly I can be overly sarcastic– someone told me one that it comes from the word “to cut flesh” but that did not change me, it’s in the area to of fun but also a way to make commentary. Sometimes in an aim to be critical of something, like AI, I go into a mode of sarcastic meme making.
That’s my card.
It looks like I did an audio ALT CV in 2024, I might have to listen to it again but I can see that a dog makes an appearance. I guess yo could add predictable to my card.
And what the heck is a SPLOT? 😉

I just shared that commercial w/ my family’s group chat. It is likely to stir some things up around here tonight. But it will have been worth it. We’ve got team dog and team cat over here. Plus, zero pets, since Dave is allergic.
I don’t understand the context of the be more dog ad! Can you tell me what I am missing between the lines? Does it mean just do adventurous things or what?
